WORKING METHOD
Handover record
The handover record follows one road movement from the booking brief to delivery evidence, with the current instruction available to dispatch, driver and receiving contact.
Booking and vehicle confirmation
Dispatch records the company, cargo description, package or pallet count, dimensions, gross weight, collection and delivery points, loading method and requested windows. The vehicle is confirmed only after those facts and site access are usable.
Collection handover
The driver receives the current reference, collection contact, entrance or dock instruction and cargo note. Visible damage, count differences, loading delays or unsafe conditions are reported before departure and attached to the movement record.
Transit communication
Updates are tied to useful milestones such as vehicle assigned, arrived for loading, departed, reached the receiving area and completed. When traffic, access or cargo readiness changes the plan, dispatch explains the known cause and revised action instead of inventing a precise ETA.
Delivery and close-out
The receiving contact checks the agreed count and visible condition. Signed delivery evidence or the agreed acknowledgement is matched to the booking reference, while refusals, shortages or damage notes remain open with a named next action.
